Following are some other TEA parties in the vicinity of Contra Costa County. We provide information and alerts as possible for other tea party activities, but we try and maintain information related to the East Contra Costa area. If you work, or frequent other areas too, then we encourage you to stay current with other local groups as well.

Patriots, PLEASE DO NOT forget to add postage to your mail in ballot. The amount is 61 cents now. That means two stamps. If you forget it will either delay your ballot or it might not get there at all. It has been brought to our attention that the mail in ballots are not as dependable as voting in person. The mail in ballot process is fraught with problems and opens the door for potential mischief. If you want to avoid these problems you can take your mail in ballot to the polls on election day and drop it in. Just MHO. I like to see my ballot drop. When you vote at the polls make sure whomever marks you off does it in pen NOT PENCIL. That way they cannot erase your name. Not saying it's going to happen, but just to be sure.

According to Roll Call, Obama is going on a two week campaign stomp around the country. He is scheduled to do a DNC fundraiser in San Francisco on October 21st…he’s supposed to be in Seattle that day and then come here so while there is no time or place yet determined…it probably would be end of day. That being said, this is very fluid and subject to change. I would just tell people to stay on high alert for the time and place.
